Brandon Li is a filmmaker, editor with a Master of Fine Arts from the American Film Institute (AFI) Conservatory. With roots in narrative film and also his foundation in street dance, Brandon brings a uniquely cinematic and emotional language to his work and has cultivated over seven years of experience in both editing and directing.

 

Brandon’s films span across various genres, include not only narrative film but also experimental films and fashion films. He blends his storytelling skills with different elements like movement and fashion, tries to create unique visual narratives. Driven by a passion for rhythm, emotion, and cross-genre expression, his work has received international acclaim, including the Gold Remi Award at the Houston International Film Festival, Best Editing at the 29th Beijing International Film Festival,  and Best Sound Design at Shanghai International Short Week.
